Seat on the District February 2026

Logan Montana Community
SUBJECT: Open seat on the District
February 27th, 2026

What is a Director?
A Director on the Board is a supervisory and leadership role that involves projects to the Logan Montana Water-Sewer District, providing support to any administrative personnel that is hired from the Board for operations, and ensuring compliance to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
The director needs to be living inside the district boundaries or having real property located in the district boundaries and registered to vote in the Gallatin County.

What is the role of a Director?
We are looking for an individual that has a background in project management, knowledgeable of cross-organizational team work, and have problem-solving skills. Due to the nature of a sewer district, to be knowledgeable about both engineering and administrative tasks would be helpful but not required. As a member you might need to coordinate and vote-in hired contractors and hired subcontractors in carrying out projects and other daily activities. You might also be placed in charge of developing new project ideas to be given to the Chairman of the Board to be voted on. You might also need to file reports of updated progress for the Chairman of the Board, work with the Treasurer, and other board directors.

What are the qualities we are looking for in a Director?
A Director needs to be deadline-oriented to ensure that tasks and projects are completed on time. This means they should have strong time-management skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, and excellent communication skills to keep their team on track. We also require this person to be present to 80% of all meeting. Our District board members prefers Zoom, but on occasions we need to meet in person at the Manhattan Senior Center Boardroom in the basement. The meeting are typical 40mins, upwards to 1.5 hours per agenda. I have the written agenda and time frame prior to the meetings so that each member can coordinate. This position can be up to, but not limited to, a four-year commitment.

Please email me if you are interested in an interview with the district through Zoom meeting in May 2026.
